Oh joyous gatherings.I always go to bed before i get up. Not sure what the alternative is.
Now the mornings are getting bright earlier I will. Mrs BR and I usually bring the dog for a walk later in the day in a wood nearby. Really peaceful and rarely meet anyone or any other dogs.
Have you a faithful mutt John Joe? We have always had more than one over the past 34 years, for some time 4, then 3, but one loveable mutt passed in her sleep two years ago aged 14, and we had to have a lovely 11 year GSD put together sleep last week - liver tumor.
Just Heidi now, a 2 1/2 yr old GSD. However, in time I plan to ease Golden Retriever and another GSD into our pack.
Mrs BR keeps saying she doesn't want any more dogs but I'll get around that![]()
Yes I'm almost 65 and find myself waking around 3 every morning (like now)!!, sometimes I drop back off for a couple of hours but most times not, the worst thing to do is pick up the phone (like now)!!Retired now, so usually between 9 and 10. I usually wake early, like 3 or 4 and then fight to get back to sleep. Been like this for years so I guess it does me no harm.
Luxury!Monty Python:
Right. I had to get up in the morning at ten o’clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, (pause for laughter), eat a lump of cold poison, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad would kill us, and dance about on our graves singing “Hallelujah.”
ThisWithin 5 minutes of the mrs picking something for us both to watch on tele.
