What Time do you go to bed (NOT With me Ma)

Retired now, so usually between 9 and 10. I usually wake early, like 3 or 4 and then fight to get back to sleep. Been like this for years so I guess it does me no harm.

Like to walk before work and I start work at 7am- my choice as self employed.

Most nights, I am counting the minutes down to 9pm to get into bed and watch an hours TV. When life catches up on me, love a good game in the Champions League to have an early bath and under the duvet for 7.45pm.

Now the mornings are getting bright earlier I will. Mrs BR and I usually bring the dog for a walk later in the day in a wood nearby. Really peaceful and rarely meet anyone or any other dogs.

Have you a faithful mutt John Joe? We have always had more than one over the past 34 years, for some time 4, then 3, but one loveable mutt passed in her sleep two years ago aged 14, and we had to have a lovely 11 year GSD put together sleep last week - liver tumor.

Just Heidi now, a 2 1/2 yr old GSD. However, in time I plan to ease Golden Retriever and another GSD into our pack.

Mrs BR keeps saying she doesn't want any more dogs but I'll get around that 😉

Sounds good. No mutt for me as I live in a place where pets aren't allowed. Golden retrievers are lovely dogs and very intelligent.

Yes I'm almost 65 and find myself waking around 3 every morning (like now)!!, sometimes I drop back off for a couple of hours but most times not, the worst thing to do is pick up the phone (like now)!!

Monty Python:

Right. I had to get up in the morning at ten o’clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, (pause for laughter), eat a lump of cold poison, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad would kill us, and dance about on our graves singing “Hallelujah.”
Luxury!
