2nd test Everton Under-21s V Bolton Wanderers B

If they had any intention of improving this situation I suspect they'd have done so already...anything significant anyway.

The local state have cash to throw at making BBC tv drama series - airing tonight - about a Liverpool gangster family but not to help out a football club that spent £750M of its own money on a stadium that will do their job of regenerating the north end of the city.

That's how out of whack their priorities are: using public cash to promote a gangster drama that portrays the city as a cess pit of drug pushing scumbags but f.a. for a civic institution that's done loads to help the community.
Agree, they should defo cancel Eastenders to pay for our new monorail.

I think the travelling to and from the stadium is being overblown a bit.

Lansdowne Rd has a train station beside it and it still takes ages to leave after a match.

Croke Park holds 80,000 and the nearest train station is a good 20-25 walk. You can't park anywhere near either stadium to any great degree. Most people have a favourite pub they go to before or after and the rest just stroll back into town etc ( another 15-20) walk.

Everyone will find an equilibrium after a couple of games.
I've done that walk a few times, from the Luas on Abbey street to Croke park, it's not too bad but not great if the weather isn't playing ball, people wont appreciate walking half an hour in lashing rain.

I dont think he has any input in BBC programming.
His office handed FilmLiverpool hundreds of thousands to put together a drama for the BBC that undermines the city and positions it (again) firmly in the minds of others as a toilet for drug gangs and all the other assorted flotsam and jetsam who feed off them.

Well done 'Mayor Steve'.

Sean Bean is in it, its gonna be a banger.

Do you have a link to "His office handed FilmLiverpool hundreds of thousands to put together a drama for the BBC" that I could look over?

I feel this is going to be Davek's latest fixation FFS. Surprised he hasn't mentioned banning Comic Relief because it's a red nose...

Can you get a wider shot with less sky and more of the stadium? Or would you have to stitch multiple shots together?

Best I could get on one shot. That's from the back row.
