Seems like ages since we last played Spurs. Never enjoy playing them either.
Exactly, difficult to describe but the run up to playing Spurs is the only thing that comes close to the Derby. We're either abysmal against them or have a period of doing well against them. Considering what a shambles they are this is another one like Liverpool that hoes firmly in the 'choke and beat ourselves before even starting' category.
Is it too much to ask for one game where I don't have to watch either Barry or Howard? Their joint retirement party can't come quickly enough. Horrifying thought that Howard may have 6 years left of his career and we are the sort of stupid club that would keep him for that long.
Would prefer Lescott at left back but otherwise perfect.Howard
Hibbert - Yobo - Lescott - Baines
Osman - Neville - Pienaar
Cahill
Fellaini - Saha
Would prefer Lescott at left back but otherwise perfect.
I think Martinez will be desperate to finish in the top half of the table to be honest. I'd be surprised if we're not full strength.
I will start this team against Spurs. 3 points to Everton, no consensus.
Howard
Coleman Stones Jagielka (capt) Galloway
McCarthy Barry
Mirallas Barkley Osman
Lukaku
Subs: Robles, McGeady, Kone, Naismith, Distin (cos of farewell), Besic, Browning.
Unavailable: Hibbert, Baines, Gibson, Oviedo, Pienaar (all injured); Lennon (their player).
I won't even let Garbutt sitting on the bench. He wants to leave Everton, let him.
