They couldn't hack the wide spaces of Wembley with 10 men. They hardly threatened the Gent goal in the last twenty minutes when it was most needed. And Gent were crafty at getting the free kicks.

Spurs manage to lose against the team ranked 8th in Belgium. They even played with a makeshift squad because of injuries (one sub was a 17 year old who only played twice in the Belgian competition).

Have to say I enjoyed watching 'world class' Kyle Walker steaming down the line crossing to no one, taking shots that were never on and then to cap it all run 30 yards and into touch near the half way line. It was a virtuoso performance from him.

Well they did win the double in 1960/61 season. I was there to see that team dismantle Everton at Goodison like no other team, ever. Absolutely incredible performance. They WERE a big club at one time...

They are premier league standard easily. They qualified for the last 16 in the CL just last season ffs. They played like [Poor language removed] today but half their squad is injured.
