I said I didn't want him to be brought in to be Lukaku's replacement and while that clearly wasn't the plan it is what we've ended up with now. Seen him to do more talking to the ref than doing anything on the ball.

His air kick when Baines put it on a plate for him summed up his day really.

He could probably do with being benched for the game in Italy, if only as I'm interested to see how we go without him. We couldn't do worse than today.

The fella writes his own headlines, so no doubt he'll come back to score the winner at Old Trafford next Sunday o_O

Take him out of the lineup and I'd wager you see a much better team. He doesn't have what we need physically to run the show. He is too one footed as well.

This would have been the game to drop him. Now people can use next week AWAY at United as ammo for his re-inclusion if he is indeed dropped. We should have given Spurs a much better test than we did. I don't see us taking it to United regardless of who we play.
