One more thing mert, I take sam didn’t win those first couple of games nor does he get credit for keeping us up (if he does) because it’s not his team like

Well done Koeman/Unsworth for those victories after the West Ham game

He's done the best he could with the players/squad he inherited, he was brought in to get the job done.

Tbh I don't even think Sam realized how bad a squad he inherited from RK.

His spend is nothing compared to Koeman's - and even one of those signings is better than 90% of his.

And you're making out that Koeman was just sacked for 9 bad games. He wasn't. He was sacked for blowing £200+million up the wall and having no idea (remember he played DCL right wing back? Or Vlasic CM?)

And i don't care for shots per game and that guff. Im more concerned about wins and losses. We win or draw more than we lose, then I'm happy.

Also, 7 points above relegation...but also 6 points from safety, 3 from Leicester (are they relegation threatened?).

And behave with this "steal credit for West Ham". He's not. But if it fuels the fume, keep going.

Perhaps it would be worthwhile doing some actual research before making completely inaccurate statements. As said previously and by several other posters, Allardyce has been and is continuing to steal credit for the West Ham win which he had nothing to do with.

Here he is today very clearly stating that we have had 17 points from eight home games - http://www.skysports.com/football/n...ardyce-shrugs-off-boos-from-fans-at-full-time.

Here are the 8 home games that add up to them 17 points. Note that it only tallies up if you include the West Ham game.

1). West ham - 3
2). Huddersfield - 3
3). Swansea - 3
4). Chelsea - 1
5). Man U - 0
6). West Brom - 1
7). Leicester - 3
8). Crystal Palace - 3

Total 8 home games, 17 points.

Lets not let facts spoil it though eh. That would go against everything that Allardyce stands for.

He's done the best he could I agree. I don't doubt he tries.

The issue is that he is completely inept and clueless. I try my best at 7 a side every week with the talent I have at my disposal, but unfortunately what I have in mind upstairs never quite comes off when I put my foot through the ball.

Doing your best is irrelevant. This isn't primary school mert.

Fantastic post. Spot on.
