Agree for me he isn't a premier league player but to play him and Allan in a two is asking for being destroyed. Docuoure does the work of two or three men without him we have to set up in a 433.

Yep, Gbamin needed to be in there to make a 3 and stop is getting overrun.

The mistake Benitez made was giving him a single minute. Why is he blowing after 60 mins? He’s unfit and has been for seasons because he just larks about in training. He’s not a serious player and is laughing in the face of Everton fans. It’s even more frustrating because in 16/17 and 17/18 I actually thought he stood up for the team especially in 17/18 when we were really bad and he forced himself in ahead of Schendierlin Klaassen Vlasic and Sigfurdson in midfield to actually play ok that season.
He’s nowhere near that player now though and hasn’t been ever since. He’s just completely slacked off and is now just a joke player. Lazy slow comedy player who just does stupid stuff then is gasping after an hour, the absolute epitome of where this club is right now.

I am not a fan of him but he did ok but not playing doesn't help and having to step into Doucoure's shoes just shows how vital he is.
He is pony like Kenny, Gomes, Holgate, etc etc but he is all we have.

Id rather anyone else played midfield. Gbamin, Holgate, stick Gordon in there, go to the youth team and find the next lad who plays midfield, go into the crowd and pull out any random bloke, they’d all be better than Davies.
