Okay, I`ll play.

At what point do the club pull the trigger then ?

One win in 10.
One win in 11.
One win in 12.
One win in 13.
When we`re in the bottom 3.
When we get relegated ( like you seem to be relishing )

They don't is my answer UNLESS he gets his best players back and we still are losing games then fair enough the squad have downed tools and seen off yet another manager.

Anyone who seriously believes the owners will sack a manager 11 games in, 11th in the table with 8 injuries/suspensions is inhaling turps imo.

Because the money it would take to sack him, the money it would take to buy out the new blokes contract from his current club is not worth it when 1. We cant then back the new bloke in January and 2. Is that new manager going to do any better with our injury list? Will they get a tune out of a front 3 of Iwobi, Rondon & Gordon? Delph and Allan in CM?

Its easy to slate the manager and dream of sacking him but it becomes a lot more tricky when the reality of the clubs situation is laid bare.

We aint Man Utd who have hundreds of millions and a squad of Ronaldo, Cavani, Greenwood, Rashford all fit and firing just waiting for Poch to walk through the door.

We happens if we keep picking up further injuries throughout the season (like happens to most teams) and continue to go on long runs of poor form? Do we just stick by the manager whatever happens and take a relegation on the chin?

I'd hold Moshiri and Brands more accountable if that happened.
Nobody is getting a tune out of this squad with key players missing.
We've been a joke for a while now.

I waxed lyrical when we were playing well - im simply giving people valid reasons why we've dropped from 5th to 11th and that is the 8 players we currently have injured/suspended.

See where WHU, Leicester, Crystal Palace etc would be in the table with 8+ injuries.

We cant win with you people unless we say "something something sack the FSW".

11 games

Eleven.

'You people' :hayee:

Supposedly we can only judge Benitez mate when he has a fully fit squad to pick from and when we inevitably picked up injuries again we'll have the same old spiel spouted.

Who's said he's done a great job winning 1 in 9?

The facht that so many liked that libellous exaggerated incorrect post is why us sensible fans cant win this argument.

Any valid reasoning is met with "you luv the manager lad and think he's as good as Pep".

Its Fake News - I said he was doing a great job when we were 5th/6th in the table playing good counter attacking football. Its gone bad but im giving you reasons WHY it has gone bad - Benitez hasn't turned crap over night we've just had over a dozen injuries in that space of time to largely key players.
But you said every second he is here you are winning the argument. Now you are saying you can't win it ?

Also libellous? The amount of times you have incorrectly accused posters of things with zero evidence to back it up.

You said like 2 days ago that benotez was getting the best out of the players, so surely that means he is doing his job well?

You would imagine at some stage the injuries will calm down or at least to the point where its largely affecting the more disposable players like Coleman, Townsend, Allan - its vital DCL, Richarlison, Doucoure, Mina & Pickford are on the pitch as they give us the quality in areas of the pitch that see us win games of football.

You cant compete against other PL sides with players like Alex Iwobi, Fabian Delph, Anthony Gordon, Tosun/Rondon, Holgate and scratch your head when we are getting beat.

Who's the current EFC manager?

You can debate all day with a religious fundamentalist and they'll never agree with you no matter what evidence you provide - same with the radicals in our fanbase when it comes to "FSW" "Pigman" "scumbag" etc etc.

So, if we got all the injured players back and still lose games then it still won't be Benitez's fault but it will because the players have downed tools. lol

Yes he's doing crap as what other manager would deliberately leave out DCL, Dacoure and Mina and also sub Gray after 17 minutes against City. The man hasn't a clue.

Just watch I bet the clown leaves out Richie next.
It's 3 players from the starting 11 and we have fallen to pieces these past 2 months. Injuries happen, it is his job to come up with a system and tactics to get results out of what he has.

He's doing a crap job. Just say it.

More than likely yes - otherwise how do you go from being 5th in the table to bottom 3 which is what it would take to see him sacked?

Dont tell me that you dont believe our squad don't down tools they have done it to every manager we've had and will continue to do it in the future - our own club captain is on record stating we have a mentality problem in the dressing room.

We would all hope so yes, but that's sometimes not how football works. It's not as simple as saying we will be fine once everyone comes back.

It's common for sides to not have a full strength team available at any point during a 38 game season. You have to adapt and find ways to compete, because injuries are simply part of football.

It's impossible to say until he gets a chance with a fit squad or his own players.

I'll admit it looks crap but is it really down to him or the really poor recruitment carried out over the last 5 years?
