Im sure he did, obvious statement of the day lad but he must have also assessed what was going on and thought, nah, not for me this and it was Real!

Rafael will not get any more "offers" after us! Guaranteed.

He is done but as his No.1 Fan Boy I wont expect you to understand that

You're delusional if you think Rafas career is over if he left here.

Fact of the matter is there will always be a club who will take a punt on him. He would walk in to every championship side. There are mid-table foreign clubs who would be interested such as Fiorentina who wanted him in the summer. Relegation threatened clubs would ask him. Newcastle. Etc etc.

2 matches in which individual errors messed us up.

Sure we probably would have lost against Liverpool, but at 2-1 we were getting back in to the match and they were there for the taking. Watford we were 2-1 up until the last 10 mins and we lost our heads.

Both of those games can't be fully blamed on Rafael.

At Brentford we dominated them, we lost to a penalty and had a stonewall penalty rejected for us. If we had more players fit, we would have beaten them.

You could say we potentially lost 7 points in these matches. Which would be pushing us in to European spots, but Rafael can't be fully blamed.

Get Mina back, get DCL back, add a new right back and hopefully more and see where we're at.
Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda

So many ifs and buts

No piggin substance to any of that!

Who's disputing that?

Are the reasons down to the manager? Some. Most? No.

There is no rational point of getting shut of Benitez other than to satisfy the wishes of his detractors who never gave him a chance. The owner knows that and has responded with that in mind. Let's see how long he maintains that stance, but Benitez is defo here for the near future.
What was your take on Nuno being shown the door at Spurs after about 10 games? I think you were a fan of his, no? Levy realised it was a mistake and acted.

and they can have him! with our blessing lad.

anyone looking at his record over last 6 seasons and his showing at us, thinks twice, 100%

This argument about injuries is getting tedious. There are lots of teams who never have a fully fit squad for even 1 game of a season.

Our defending comes back to the manager because exactly the same players conceded far fewer goals last year. Of course he takes some of the blame, it's bonkers to suggest otherwise.

The fact of the matter is he's still revered as a master tactician and is well known for building clubs.

He's exactly what we need right now. Sure it's going to be tough, but I think it will be worth it in the long run.
The only one revering him is you.

2 man midfield against one of the best teams in the league.

He's an idiot.
