That's great but think of it more along the lines that you are like a wayward little child that keeps sticking things in the plug sockets and smearing poo on the walls. I am one of the grown ups who keeps having to remind that your behaviour is not appropriate. <pats its head> ?
Not sure he sees the irony of his post really. He claims he doesn't care about benitez and spends 90% of his time in this thread commenting on and sticking up for him.

It’s because it’s Benitez. This was always going to happen. Any other manager would be backed against these players, but he was never going to be. He’s too easy a target.
He’s an easy target because every action he takes exposes himself further.

I’m surprised it’s happened so quickly tbf, but the blokes on a suicide mission it seems.

And because he’s a former Liverpool manager that we all hate. Should never have been appointed, it was never going to be an appointment that would resolve the toxicity within the club and fanbase, it was always going to add to it.

I always said I wouldn’t bat an eyelid when any of these players leave, and I still wouldn’t, regardless of who the manager is. They are cowards that don’t represent my football club. I don’t have an attachment to them whatsoever, don’t care if they get on the bench for France who won the World Cup 3 and a half years ago.

All hail the Supreme Leader

I think it's also that we knew what would happen, certainly on this forum I regards to the posters who were clamouring for him to be hired. When we have been losing, it's the players fault for being poor, for not following his instruction, for "downing tools".

When we won, it was all down to the manager. They were playing for HIM, HIS tactics, HIS subs.

Just doesn't add up. Richie was grabbing his badge, and made an Instagram post that suggests more that he was playing for the fans rather than the manager.

That’s about 3 posters that think that though.

These players have downed tools on other managers though, let’s not forget that just because we don’t like Benitez.

It's not though, it's been vicious in here again with posters going against each other even after the win. I gave him credit for the performance being improved but it was still very flawed and we certainly rode our luck at times.

It’s the same posters shouting over the top of each other though. It’s by no means the consensus that he gets praised for wins and absolved of all blame for defeats.

Kev I really hope this post can change your opinion on Rafael. Now Rafael is going to be at the club for a long time barring relegation threats this season, he has proven in every game where he has his best players available that he can get the players to perform well and pick up points.

Benitez knows if he can strengthen the depth of the club then he can turn around the fortunes of the club to a point where we will be right up there challenging with the group just behind the current elite clubs (Liverpool Chelsea and city). I'm just struggling to see where your justification comes from to be so against him. We all need to be behind what the club is trying to do and by doing that we give the club the best chance of success.

I would understand if Rafael didn't perform when the tools were available but this hasn't been the case. When the best players have been on the pitch he has got results, when injuries have been at their worst then he has struggled. What else can he do more? If you go beyond the best eleven we have championship level quality and therefore they lose games. He will rectify this, you just need to believe it more.

have you read his autobiography? cos this doesn't sound like the chap in there. The bloke I read about absolutely thrived on confrontation. To paint ism as some sort of enlightened leader compared with Benitez is way off. He practised losing his rag in front of the mirror for chrissakes

…i did read his book, I read it a few years ago on holiday. Highly recommended.

Remember when Coleman said " we've got to stop hiding behind managers"

The club captain admitting they've thrown managers under the bus - insane

I still don't think Benitez is right for us though
