Knowing our luck, this clueless divvy will come out with a public display of support for Benitez today and only oil pull the trigger once the window is finished and we're in the bottom three.

Needs to be some bs fact-checked in this thread.

Moshiri has not spent 500m on transfers. Everton spent 500m. Moshiri cleared 250m of debt, but while there's no obligation to repay it, he could claw it back in the future. So, it is only correct to say moshiri has given the club 250m.

Moshiri is not funding the stadium. It is clearly reported everywhere that Everton are/were seeking funding. We will only know the outcome if the club tell us.

Is the right answer.

"Cant believe he's building us a new ground and given us £500 million to spend in 5 years get him OOT the wrongun!!!"

Given us? He’s given us [Poor language removed] all. He’s loaned to the club, which we will have to pay back at some time. He has been gambling at the casino with our money, let’s not forget that.

So Moshiri walks tomorrow what billionaire in the current world pandemic climate is coming in, still building us a new ground and investing in players?

West Ham have just had a billionaire buy a stake in them and haven't spent a penny this Janaury when they are fighting for top 4 and their fans desperate for another CF to cover the injury prone Antonio.

I keep saying it but we have one of the most committed owners in world football - the problem has been our last two DOF's have wizzed money up the wall on crap.

Take away Iwobi, Toshun and El Ghazi just so there is no argument over who signed them, we have signed the following bums under Walsh/Brands:

Siggurdsson: £45 million
Bolasie: £27 million
Keane: £25 million
Kean: £27 million
Klaassan: £24 million
Schneiderlin: £25 million
Gomes: £22 million
Delph: £8.5 million
Walcott: £20 million
Williams: £12 million

£235.5 million wasted by two men with good reputations in recruitment at their former clubs - throw in loan deals for the likes of Sidibe, King, wages for Benard and James Rodriguez, money spent on the likes of Vlasic, Lookman, Onyekuru who never got much of a sniff under Koeman is there any wonder why we are in a mess?

Fans need to wake up and stop putting the blame of all the clubs ills at the door of the fella who has come in and tried to make things work.

If Everton had invested that money correctly we would be top 6 regardless of Bill Kenwright being chairman, regardless of DBB being CEO, regardless of him texting Jim White.

It all comes back to who is on that football pitch and sadly we haven't signed anywhere enough good players with good attitudes its as simple as that.

I didn’t say he should walk. Benitez didn‘t appoint himself, nor did any of the other managers. Moshiri isn’t very good at this football malarkey and we have been his experiment and gone backwards no matter how much of our money he has spent.

If there is a sacking, he needs to speak directly to fans this week to apologise and explain how things will be done going forward. And not through Jim White. DO it properly on our own club media outlets.
