Rooney was never a candidate as the receivers of Derby County would have wanted a fortune to end their debts .......he would have had no chance of us paying that fee hence he decided to pull out of the race from day one .....hence his statement I am staying with Derby County.......

Immaterial as probably most premiership managers vote that way plus maybe our past Managers on that basis it totally irrelevant it's a very poor excuse not to want any candidate imo ...
