If Big Dunc doesn’t get the job surely that must be him finished with the club. Can’t see how he can take another knock back from those who frequently tell him how important he is to the club. Hopefully he will get a manager’s job somewhere else and he will be ready to take over following the failure or the moving up of our next manager.

100% Lampard based on he time with Derby and his ups and downs at Chelsea, he has more experience from those times. Taking nothing away from Rooney but you can’t judge over 6 months. Pereira is a train wreck and Ferguson needs to go elsewhere and gain some full management experience.

Ok. So we are left with Lampard over Rooney.

Given the circumstances, and the money he had, I think Rooney has done a better job than Lampard. I also think, overall Lampard failed at Derby. So that's my rationale anyway.
