Honestly win our next 2 games, move us away from the bottom ASAP then start blooding the kid.

I would have anyone over Coleman but right now we need to fight and Seamus is a fighter.

Still a great option off the bench too
Oh is that all we need to do? Easy!

Honestly it’s clear we shouldn’t have purchased him in January. The money needed to go to someone who could contribute now rathe than a year or two from now. Not Nathan’s fault. But man our board room decision making is so so bad.

Press seem obsessed with asking about him every week. I still think Lampard believes Coleman is undroppable though, more so when he always says things like “he’s in the same position as Coleman, the club captain”.

Armband should have zero sway in choosing a lineup though of course.

Mark Noble is West Ham’s club captain and he barely ever plays.

Bad fascination with this kid on each presser.
It's pathetic. How many times does Lampard have to tell them he's not ready?

He said yesterday that 'for sure he has a future at the club' but also that 'he's learning in training what he has to do at the PL level'...indicating that from what he's seeing at FF he hasn't got what it takes to start or even take part in a PL game.

He's told those useless 'kin hacks that for the last month, but the cloth eared scum just dont stop yapping about it. You'd think he was Cafu rather than a sub from the SPL.

Think it’s a real benefit we have these insightful experts on here who know the game and a player better than Frank Lampard, despite not taking training every day and having an expert team of analysts around them every day like Frank Lampard.

The same experts who will be berating this young player when he misplaces a pass or two in his third game.

That's how Seamus started out, for the benefit of those with short memories.
Moyes made a player out of him on the training pitch first.

Anybody mention 60K?

I’d give anything to have a right back that only misplaced a pass or two every game rather than one that only completed a pass or two every game

Weird obsession with this bloke both on here and in press conferences. He’s third choice (at best) right back. We won’t see him until we are safe.
The obsession on here comes from people believing him to be the answer to our defensive frailties - even though he's not a FB in a million years and every manager that's played him has done so as a winger high up the pitch.

The hacks in the media then scan this forum and the traffic it generates and believe it to be fan demands that Patterson should be in the team.

It's laughable. He's a 20 year old sub from a poor league who needs to learn the game.

Don't think it's that just think people have had enough of watching Coleman slowly die before our eyes
