Don’t want Zinchenko. We need a Leicester approach of finding players on the way up who are affordable. We need to avoid the cast offs from the top sides
It can't be all of one but none of the other.

We certainly need to bring in young talent that can in time be developed. That has recently happened with Mykolenko and Patterson and we want to see more of that.

But we also need to come into team and contribute immediately and very often these young lads are not ready.

That is why the signing of established players like Zinchenko is necessary... Tarkoswki as well.
At least Zinchenko will certainly have resale value in four years time

Any news on the signings/departures? Its been a good 4 weeks, 28 days/672 hours our precious board and staff couldv shown why they get paid nice money for, you know, work? Or am im doing something outrageous as an everton fan, namely, hope for something?

Considering there are consortium’s trying to buy us, plus the new financial year not starting until July 1st, I’d say any meaningful activity is still a few weeks away at least.

Why would Moshiri want to spend another pound if he’s genuinely trying to sell us?

No. We’ve signed cast offs from poor ‘top sides’ zinchenko is not a ‘cast off’ and plays for the best side in the world for the last 6 years. No city fan wants him to leave, he just wants to play midfield which city won’t let him do.

Really don't get the clamour for Zinchenko. We need a box to box midfielder who will get double figures (in the mould of Gallagher) and we need a ball retaining destroyer (in the mould of Gana). Zinchenko is neither of these. He's also never played midfield in the Premier League and there's people who want to pay £30million for him? Only thing he has going for him is his winning mentality, but Delph had that?
Ball retaining ? did you watch Gana. Very good at what he did, but not best at keeping the ball
