This game was famous for all the wrong reasons for Bally - 2-1 up he fell out with a number of players in this game, even Howard Kendall arguing who should take a free-kick - HK pushed him away - then Keith Newton at fault for Leeds winner then he gave him a right rollicking on the pitch .....

I went to filbert street once - hostile fans - I was in the stands let a can of ale open & covered them with ale - we just won Bernie the Bolt was playing for us in a kit that was bursting at the seams LOL

…played at Filbert St but never scored. I think of all the league grounds I played at it was my least favourite.

The Catt must have been on the whisky with medication to sign him lol
Things must have been grim at GP to have signed a player of such dubious skills. In that article he seemed astounded that Catterick wanted him. With good reason.

The legendary incident at the training ground exposed the Brummie hard nut in all his glory thus waking Catterick from his stupor and quickly Bernie's bolt was fired lol

Only time I was at Filbert Street, we were stood in the small terrace opposite the cameras that run the length of the pitch. I crapped myself as a sergeant and half a dozen coppers made their way up to us in a determined manner.
Couldn't help laughing as he asked us to make less noise as some of the home support were upset.
