I really don't think it was fitness. I think it was thinking we could spend the whole 2nd half sitting back and defending a two goal lead against Arsenal. All it takes is one goal and the opposition are back in it. A questionable plan against any team. But Arsenal?
That's true but the whole thing with utd, post ferguson, is the need to strengthen their squad. Signing Leighton Baines would be a big deal in that regard.

Disagree. I think utd fans and club would have been very happy. Fellaini, as good as he is, was widely understood as a desperation signing whereas Baines makes total sense.
