Yeah I’d see him more as a jack of all trades really. That’s why I made the Ballack comparison. He’d obviously have done unbelievably well to be mentioned in the same breath but I just mean stylistically. Comfortable at both ends of the pitch.

    2024/25 Iliman Ndiaye

He’s not at the level of some of those mate, look at Doku at the weekend. He’s streets ahead currently. Ndiaye is a good player, lots of teams have a few of them out wide. He stands out for us because we are abysmal.

    2024/25 Iliman Ndiaye

I promise you every other fan will say the same about Ndiaye. He’s a decent player mate, most teams have a couple on his level. It’s not like Moyes’ first stint when Pienaar/Arteta/Jags/Baines/Coleman etc. would get in most sides other than the top 4/5. Our standout players are standing out...

I think it’s an incredibly competitive league.

The Now-Irrelevant 2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Big problems now for Leicester surely? The EFL will throw the book at them I’m guessing.

    2024/25 Tim Iroegbunam

Whichever way you look at it he’s got some big holes in his game. Really promising start, petered out massively now. I think the truth is in the middle, he’s a talented kid but realistically he’s bottom prem/top of the championship currently. I would love him to get a loan but he’s going to...

There’s barely anything to like about them but I didn’t mind Fatawu and Soumare at times. Honestly there’s not much in any of those relegated squads I’d want us to look at.

Thing is, I agree entirely with the principle. However, in our current state it feels a bit like going for a prostate checkup when you’ve got a gaping gunshot wound to the head. I think in a couple of years time you’re absolutely on the right lines, we simply can’t afford to do this right now...

Loved Joey, what a player. Heart in mouth every time he went on one of his dribbles but proper defender.

    2024/25 David Moyes

I think it’s rarely if ever been this tough. Look how much our fans are clinging onto Ndiaye (who I like as well) when realistically he doesn’t really get into many teams above us and they’ve arguably all got a couple who are on the same level. Crazily competitive league, stacked with talent.

    2024/25 Charly Alcaraz

In what sample size? If we play the Palace game again I think we lose 7/8 out of 10. Compare that with Forest for example. Yes doucoure limits us, but he makes up for a lot of other deficiencies across the team. I don’t think we can afford to carry someone like Alcaraz against better sides or...

Up for these type of signings all day.

With his work rate/press, even off the left. It’s been non existent since really. Clearly why he’s had a journeyman career already at 22. He’s not a sure thing mate, not sure why you’re so set on him. Wouldn’t oppose signing him but I suspect he’ll bounce around Europe and pop up against us...

    2024/25 David Moyes

Look how much the promoted sides struggle. There’s a whole lot of very good sides, I think just the ‘elite’ sides aren’t quite as good as they used to be maybe. To get into the top half is a real ask with how many good teams are in the league now though.

Simon Vukcevic would be great in the 10.
