2023/24 Dele

Comments like this just show how absolutely desperate we are as a club and fan base. Another roll of the dice on a player who hasn't played well for about 3 years. Still hoping and praying something might happen because we've been so far left behind by all the other clubs this is all we have left.
You’re spot on mate but unfortunately that’s where we are atm

Just my opinion, but he might play about 7/8 games between now and the end of his contract, that way we wont owe Spurs any money. Does well, might give him another contract, if he doesnt, we havnt lost anything.

If we don’t use him, or only use him 6 times between now and the end of his contract, we would save the £10m to spurs and be able to give him £100k week for two years with it.
Everyone’s a winner.
Everyone except the team. He will soak up that £100k a week and not give us a full game in those two years. Stop being mugs. The lad is shot, let him go somewhere else.

question around his fee.

In terms of amortisation, is it only the upfront fee that is used? Or is it the entire fee including any add ons that gets put on the books.

So obviously we have spent 0 on a transfer fee. But 5.2m a year on wages.

But for accounting purposes, have we had to put down 40m. Which would be 13.3m a year on top of the 5.2?

The reports of us supposedly wanting to come to any kind of deal that involves him remaining at Everton are total BS.

We didn't offer the far superior Yerry Mina a new contract for similar reasons, and we won't be offering Dele any new contract either.

Dele is on his way to Wrexham!
I reckon Luton… best midfield partnership in the premier league
