Did a job then, wasn't doing a job now. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and again hoping for a different outcome, and based on his inflexible in-game management, he was a certifiable nut job. And if it's true he told the owners he'd taken the club as far as he could, well, there's the door.

It would be interesting to do a Sean Dyche fact checker exercise from this season.

How many goals per game did we score before he came in etc?

He did well first season and ok last season. Got lucky with a 4 game win in April 24. Since then we’ve stagnated, and badly

Respect to their feller.

He came into a basket case headed for the Championship and saved us.
Right man at the right time for sure. Bit disappointed by the rather cold announcement today - must have been some bust up behind the scene.

Done the job for us, if he could have replicated last season then he’d still be here right now. Ultimately though a manager with a massive glass ceiling, some turgid tactics and not one any club with ambition reallt wants at the helm.

Respect for the first season and a half, not really for this season. It’s mad that they went in to look at ways of supporting him in the window, and then (e says he’s gone far enough. It’s almost like he bottled out of spending money because he knew that would increase the expectations, but we could have easily gone down the first season he was here, and we managed to stay up under him so respect for that and last season.

Kept us up, had to reduce the squad value by £72M, had an 8points deduction, wasn’t even in the relegation spots with a dreadful squad full of frees, loans and overpriced punts for the future who were never good enough.

We have 3-4 players at best.

Let’s see the next manager do as well with the utter turd of hand he was dealt by the board.
