Spurs sniffing around Alcarez?

Whoever we get lets not throw daft wages at them thats more than their ability.

Thats the reason why we havent been able to offload players for years.

Holgate
Keane
Gomes
Delph

To name a few
Offering daft wages is the only reason any player wants to sign for us

What is the percentage now?

Now as in "February 2025" is hard to say; the most up to date financials we have are as at March 2023. At that point, it had actually gone up to 92%. Only Leicester and Forest were worse - no surprise that those were the three clubs that had problems with the finance regulations. But since then, we've shed a lot of our high earners like Iwobi, Mina, Godfrey, Dele, Gomes, Allan, Tosun.

We've also probably improved our turnover at the other end signing various commercial deals. Then going into summer we'll shed lots of other big wages like Holgate and Keane. So the position has definitely got better.

It would be complete negligence to come out of this window with just 1 fit striker... I agree with not panic buying but we are in a situation where we need to get someone in.

Chermiti back in 3/4 weeks means you just have to muddle through 4 league games with Beto (Liverpool, Palace away, United at home, Brentford away). N'diaye can also play there if we are utterly desperate. Then 3/4 weeks after that you're looking at DCL/Broja being close to a return. I personally think there are other areas to prioritise

I sort of agree, but if Beto gets an injury in training, you can pretty much write off the next 4 league games and we could be back in the relegation pack (unlikely we'd drop into the bottom 3, but we could conceivably be only 3 points clear rather than 9)

First three of those games are v teams that play a high line ... Think Beto is gonna love that

Waiting for greatest ITKs return. Where are you DAVIDMOYES ? (for those who dont know, he spilled the beans on Mirallas)
That really was amazing. Not one link, nothing, then a random poster comes in and says we're signing him and a couple hours later we do. He was mistaken about a couple things later on but he was spot on most of the time.
