Mrs degsy used to make her own red cabbage much better than shop bought…..Mrs Eggs makes a lovely scouse, even our grandkids like it. Quality beef is important, I don’t mind a bit of beetroot in mine;

Started on The Beano, then The Eagle, graduated to the Wizard, bought it until it and all the other no picture comics finally foldedOwn up, who bought Bimbo, but was severely disappointed !

…..Mrs Eggs makes a lovely scouse, even our grandkids like it. Quality beef is important, I don’t mind a bit of beetroot in mine;

Some proper Posh Scouse here…quality beef, red cabbage…oh how the other half lived…..
I remember work, the smell of paraffin heaters and noisy generators.….i remember being due to play under the floodlights at Goodison and it got cancelled due to the power cuts
