Over time I bought at least a dozen of them, probably more - loved them.

Christmas annuals for me were the Broons and Oor Wullie alternately

….i remember being due to play under the floodlights at Goodison and it got cancelled due to the power cuts

…..Mrs Eggs makes a lovely scouse, even our grandkids like it. Quality beef is important, I don’t mind a bit of beetroot in mine;

Started on The Beano, then The Eagle, graduated to the Wizard, bought it until it and all the other no picture comics finally folded

…..ha, ha, my old house on the right & certainly not posh

Funny I took my 3 year old grandson on the bus on Sunday, only a few stops, it was his first time and he loved it. Novelty for todays kids, walking and bus was all I had until I managed to get a car myself
