was this when we played West Brom on a Sunday in front of (allegedly) about 52,000 people. Not sure how many they actually let in that day but I was in the paddock and had never been so crushed at Goodison. Felt like a lot more.….i remember being due to play under the floodlights at Goodison and it got cancelled due to the power cuts

This was our first ever Sunday game ,if I remember because at that time you couldn't charge admission on a Sunday they got round it by charging the admission price through the programme.was this when we played West Brom on a Sunday in front of (allegedly) about 52,000 people. 35 lost Liverpool nightclubs from the 70s, 80s and 90s
The venues were known for £1 drinks, “grab a granny” nights and chicken in a basketwww.liverpoolecho.co.uk
Amongst the clubs mentioned was Michelle Clair's, so named I seem to remember, after the owner's daughters. Had many a drunken night crazily dancing to Bowie, and various other eclectic sounds.
Right, time for my cocoa and a biccy, then off to bed. These Saturday nights are just one big blow out nowadays.
