I was thinking of making dandelion and burdock,as the dandelions are out now. Unfortunately, I haven't the foggiest idea what burdock looks like.Aah Dandelion and Burdock or Dandelion and Birdmuck as it was known in our house , have I mentioned before we are a right classy lot.
You can also make dandelion honey, but you need about 200 dandelion heads, forget that for a game of soldiers !

Ive just watched TOTP from 1982. I must have a very selective memory because I remember that era as being a bit special. Appearing tonight, Goombah Dance Band, Foster and Allen, Julio Inglesias, Chaz and Dave, Bucks Fizz, The Nolans.

I was looking at a recipe, apparently they need to be picked away from verges, parks and anywhere else that might have been sprayed with chemicals. I'll take 'em though, or maybe you might like to have a go ? The recipe :
Dandelion Honey ā The Edible Flower
This tastes surprisingly like honey, so is a brilliant substitute for vegans or anyone else avoiding honey. Iāve tried making this both with the whole dandelion head and by just using the yellow dandelion petals and my preference is for using the whole dandelion head. Not only is this much quicker b

Well mum's home so fingers crossed everything will be ok.
Got her one of those pendants that register and report falls which hopefully we never need.
Whilst I was in hospital our local tree surgeon who is a lovely fella rang me and asked if I wanted a truckload of bark chipping. I said yes because I use them all over the garden as a mulch / weed suppressant.
Asked him to dump it in the usual place but came home to find that he's dumped 3 loads and I can't now access the back gate. So you can guess what I will be doing this weekend. @blue1948 think a 4ft high snow drift but you can't use your blower.
Well hopefully my back lasts long enough to clear a path at least.

Hope you had a lovely tea at Charlotteās. Iām having my time this morning as my d-i-l is going for an endoscopy later today so we made the assumption that sheāll not be up to much tomorrow. Poor thing has never truly recovered from the hyperemesis gravidarum she had throughout her pregnancy- itās really messed her system up.
