Season Ticket Waitlist

We already have the highest ratio of ST seats to capacity in the PL, and the club sees this as limiting revenue. Yes, it provides security in terms of attendance.

I'll be paying roughly £45 per match for my ST, whereas members tickets will likely be closer to the £60-70 mark and will bring more revenue in the shop et al.
Indeed. I’m sure the Goodison season ticket percentage of 79.9% of total capacity will be reduced at the new stadium.

And it should, in my humble opinion. Whether we like it or not, the TFG and the club need to increase revenue, and that means ad-hoc attendance.

On a match day, I pay for my ST, buy a programme for my son and have a pint, and apart from that I spend very little bar kits for my son across the season.

Two non-ST seats will bring in more revenue per game purely on the ticket, and you then have the possibility for multiple merchandise sales, food and whatnot.

In modern football, we need that!

No argument at all from me. Mind you, I say that from the comfortable position of being one of the new season ticket holders. I’m nonetheless hoping that some further new season tickets are issued after 31 March because if I’ve done my sums correctly, my son is now in the top 1000 on the waiting list and it’d be great if he and I both had one.

If you don’t have a member ship you are at the bottom of the list, If you buy your first membership you’ll still be bottom of the list.
This. If you buy membership you’ll jump into tier 1 and a few thousand nearer but in reality you need to have at least 1-3 years membership + waiting list join date to be in with a chance

Doubt you’ll be in with a chance due to the list closing:

Supporters wishing to join the Season Ticket waiting list ahead of the 2025/26 season - the first at Everton Stadium - have until 11.59pm on Tuesday 5 November to do so.

But you could be on for next year.

Sounds like my life. Thanks Everton. Was a season ticket holder for 20+ years and lapsed for the last god knows how long and it counts for pss all!

How do we check position on the waiting list?
At the moment, I don’t think you can. Last December, the club circulated an email to everyone on the waiting list who wasn’t offered a new season ticket. In that email the club said that, after the 31 March ‘cut-off’ by which date all existing season ticket holders and newly granted ones must select their seats in the new stadium (so, that’s by this coming Monday) everyone would again be contacted to be told their new waiting list ‘band’. The club also said that ‘a few’ further season tickets might be offered to those at the top of the waiting list, depending on take up by existing season ticket holders and newbies. There has been much debate on here as to how many ‘a few’ might actually be. I expect that waiting list update (and notification of any further season ticket offers) to be made shortly after Monday, indeed likely during the week ahead.

Was an official number ever given for how many brand new Season tickets were offered?

Was it everyone with 5 + memberships and on waiting list got one, so how many people met that criteria?

No, yes, and apparently 4000, but the club has never said that.

Everybody with 5+ memberships that was on the waiting list was offered one. Based on number of season and from what banding people were in this is approximately 4,000 new season ticket holders. Thats all we know.

I wonder how many of those 5+ years membership people on the waiting list haven’t actually taken up the offer? It’s easy to be on the waiting list, but to actually make the commitment to part with cash and go every other week is different. I know of at least one person who isn’t currently taking up the offer, me. My sons have 4 years, and I want to sit by them, so I’m hoping they may get offered one after today.
