I think some other n here are thinking we don’t want Gordon to progress or become the player that many think he will be.

I haven’t seen anything to warrant the hype and some are sneering at an offer that’s close to a prime Richarlison we’ve just sold!

The key word in every post is potential, every player at his age has potentia! All it means is he can improve, even if he does he might become a decent PL winger/number 10 nothing more imo.

If I'm given 45m to spend on a player and my options are one of the best players in the championship at his position or one of the worst players in the PL at his position I'm trying to see if the championship player can step up.

That, mate, clearly demonstrates why you will never be given 45 million to spend.

I've read loads of posts on this thread in particular talking about £20M to £30M as being justified.

I think that's what some people have aimed his true value at, which is probably about right.

Nobody wants to accept £20-£30m when we're already apparently been offered £40-£45m and rejected it.

Gordon had 4 goals and 2 assists mate, every single post is of someone with either equal or more than that total. Some of them in significantly less time played.

Those clips just reinforce the fact that he looks like he’s going to be top class. Get better players in around him and don’t sell him.
