    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Like all in this era, he has his limits, but he's probably the most impactful signing of the the last half decade consistently, hes been worth the £20 mill spent and more then returned the value of it in influencing results. Hes made a great contribution, while we have been on our backsides. Its...

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Think there is sometimes value in the free market in that bracket - JT has been great and we signed him at 29 if my memory is right - equally Barry was a great signing, i wouldn't be too dogmatic on it - depending on the cost of the deal. Soucek, looks too expensive. I understand the premise...

He was our joint top scorer last season also. Hes made a significant contribution here, when we've been on out backsides. he and we will move on and that just natural progression. Its more then ok to acknowledge hes been very very impactful for us.

    Death !

Be careful mate, ive some experience of this and more people want to donate their remains then are required by the Uni's these days and the Unis are usually over subscribed and this can for want of better words lead to the Uni saying - thanks but no thanks - that can be a bit jarring for...

That's fair mate, i agree i think he failed the audition this season, we would have moved on in June anyway. I think we would have stayed up any way personally - isnt there some stat that even if he got 0 point between now and when he left wed still be out of the relegation places - i think we...

I didn’t believe anyone could do better with the resources we had under Moshiri and I still don’t mate. We weren’t an attractive proposition until after the takeover. Moyes certainly was coming back here until TFG came back in and present him with a project - and as above he wasn’t a popular...

Didn't he start at Villa away - going from memory like. Hes doing well, but i think we need a right full mate, im not even sure Jake is playing a traditional right full role now if im being honest, its more of a hybrid right center back with the winger supporting him. Great thing about Jake is...

Sometimes people just cant accept the Truth line mate - every club has one.

He's doing well is big Jake out on the right mate, i still think he needs a bit more work to be starting PL center back myself. He will get there, coming along nicely.

And Nathan Patterson mate. He goes on to say he earns more in hour at Talksport then rest of us 7 year old driving Ford Mondeo Werido's do in five years. You'd have to say fair enough.

Basically saying anyone who wanted him out is an enemy of the club and a whopper - holsitically! Bit strong like, but i guess he's nothing to lose at this stage, so you can kind of understand.

    2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

I wouldn't stress to much on the wages mate - unless it was something stupid like 160k a week. He would cost less then another forward, on lower wages but coming in on a fee of 25 mill. Im not saying hes the long term answer, im more thinking of asset management and our current position - id...

That's were I'm coming from to be honest - he has 0 ammortisation in keeping and we renew him as an asset we can sell on.
