    Summer Transfer Window 2019

Yup. He maybe wasn't playing as much as he wanted at Villa, but he was playing well when he got in there. He needs to move more than anyone as he has an extra year on his deal compared to Niasse, Mirallas, and Martina.

Because athleticism doesn’t matter that much.

That was pretty much made up. Brands addressed that specifically unless my memory is incorrect when he said they were looking for a CB loan. There is no way they were going to bail Man U out by buying Rojo. At least not that 25M. Brands isn't completely nuts.

    Summer Transfer Window 2019

What's mad is that you still think everyone else is on here not taking things seriously. There are posters here that SERIOUSLY think these guys would be good for Everton. Seriously.

    Summer Transfer Window 2019

Rami is a mess of a human and we are not signing 36 year old Ribery, are you all mad? I thought the Diego Costa shouts were bad, come on people.

    MUCH worse.

    Summer Transfer Window 2019

He's unbelievable. He's WAY too good for that league. He was pretty much way too good for the U21 Euros. He can use both, but his right foot is ridiculous. He can pass short, long, he's got vision, he can protect the ball - he's not soft even for someone his age. He can actually tackle and...

    Summer Transfer Window 2019

No question. But it would certainly help if he was playing where he's a bit more natural. He's also still a bit raw tactically. He has a lot to learn still about playing the holding defensive mid position, but his physical attributes made sure he'd succeed in Germany. Silva can make him a...

    Summer Transfer Window 2019

Certainly one of the best defensive mids. Gbamin will be good, though. Shouldn't have been out there, especially not in that role. He'll be fine. Just needs to adjust to the speed and physicality of the league.

First of all, not sure I believe much of anything said in the press anymore. Second of all, this dude completely ripped it up in the U21 UEFA championships.

Wouldn't take too much more. Salary savings right now is around 6M a year. If Mirallas, Niasse, Martina go, and if even around half of Bolasie's salary goes as he's an almost certain loan, the salary savings jump to about 16M a year. If we get say 5M for those jokers, it's getting there.

    Summer Transfer Window 2019

Language issues and other things may make him not quite up to speed from a tactics standpoint, so I get it if he's not out there from day one. But it's not going to be long. The kid is going to be a little inconsistent, but he is also going to pull off some stuff that we've not seen in a CF in...

    Summer Transfer Window 2019

Kean's played 1700 minutes in Serie A + CL and scored 11 goals. DCL has played over 4200 minutes in the PL/UEL and scored 11 goals. Is 1700 minutes at the top flight really unknown? He's much better than DCL, he didn't come here to sit on the bench - in fact, probably the ONLY reason he moved...

    Summer Transfer Window 2019

Agreed. And that's why, although it would've been interesting to get Zaha, just don't think we are there yet. I can't wait to get to the point where we can afford the super cost to get incrementally better from good to elite, but we have to get good first. We aren't THAT close.

    Summer Transfer Window 2019

    Uh, Kean.
  16. CRIMHEAD

    Summer Transfer Window 2019

Absolutely. He didn't move to sit on the bench. He's also a lot better than DCL.

    Summer Transfer Window 2019

I saw that. That was special. Probably the highlight. I did like some of these others... - I can't believe people thought we were going to spend 25M on Rojo. Really? - Then there was my personal favorite, the "player is unproven in the PL" take. Like the United Kingdom has a special power...

Yeah, he's a pretty good player. He'll help us a bit. Creative and clever.
