Doing business late is more about getting value for money in my opinion I’d have thought. Not ideal obviously but a necessity.

What do we reckon then, two more signings, one being a loan and one a permanent? If so a striker and another CM that are better than we’ve got and get rid of Gomes or Gbamin. That would be a decent window albeit last minute!

? I think this is already the best window in years for just making more sense. Just need more goals in the squad now. Yes we still have some dross but we’ve made some big signings in important areas!! Confident of decent progress now..

I’m reserving judgment on this signing purely on the basis it’s not Richy’s replacement and that it’s to add more options within the squad. If it is the only forward we bring in then I’ll be gutted!! I’m guessing most are thinking the same on this.

I think so many have an opinion because our squad has been so imbalanced in recent years. Supporters are also getting restless because the positions that are higher priority are not getting filled and if there is so little money to spend due to our situation we are left scratching our heads.
