Tend to think that if we sign a top left back, Baines will immediately revert to being the back-up. But, maybe we have more pressing needs in other areas of the pitch right now.

Beginning to think that Baines knows he hasn't got the legs to keep bombing forward like he did when playing with Pienaar, those days have long gone in him. He clearly picks his moments to go on a run, and they're getting fewer and fewer.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't saying it was unfair to drop Galloway in favour or Bainsey, just unfair to drop him for a Bainsey who - for me - doesn't look to 100% and hasn't yet gone on any searing left wing raids culminating in a peach of a cross begging to be bladdered into the opposition net.
