I think this has to be his last season and should be getting phased out. Galloway is coming back for example, would even give Garbutt a game rather than Oviedo.

That Dave is the regrettable fact with regard to sportsmen. The number of games he will play this season is looking limited. And we have no realistic back up unless Oviedo really starts to shine.

We really need to sort out back up LBs and I do not just mean Oviedo. The injuries that have been hitting Baines could point to a recurring problem now, mind not as bad as Pienaar or Gibson.

Never said he was a legend but that he did give the fans a lot of pleasure and it was good to have him at the club. In fact signing was a real coup.

I for one disagree, he gave the fans great pleasure and I thank goodness he was at our club for awhile. World class striker in my book.
