If we won the Europa league it's as good as finishing 3rd place but in less games in terms of rewards and theres a trophy to show for it. Wouldn't care if we finished 9th and won the Europa.

I agree with this but it would have to be someone that's guaranteed to bang in 15 or at least close to it otherwise it's a big risk for potentially a lot of cash and we can't afford to mess this season up imo

Taking that out of the equation where are we getting the 20+ gl guaranteed CF from? I can't see many teams departing with such a player and I can't see that calibre of player wanting to come to us just yet.

I'd love a 20 league gl CF but who that good would come to us at present and even if we could convince the player what team would sell such an asset? Agree with the rest, Baines should be used in rotation for the next two seasons and Keane definitely needs a younger ball playing partner...

Of course mate and debate is healthy in all walks of life but some of the tripe I'm reading about EFC, well, it's just that, tripe.
