Dude, for the 100th time, Koeman is the manager, Walsh is the Director of Football. Koeman does not offer or sign players. This isn't that complicated.

I think the price is nuts, but still waiting for someone to name a better player for our money. Someone that would make our starting lineup better. We are obviously going to buy a striker. We are going to buy another defender. But Koeman wants a play maker.

Brokovic could be had for probably 20M, Jonahthan Viera for 30, Mahrez for same price as Gyfil, Andre Silvia for 30M, etc. Don't think any of them are as good as Siggy. But it could allow us to buy a better Striker or CB.

I guessed that. I don't have a problem with big fees if we can afford them. What I don't know is if the Koeman Walsh team are really good at buying players.
Out of last years crop there were hits and misses but to be fair they didn't have much time to make signings. The league position improved but there are still questions. This summer they have clearly had a plan laid out, but replacing lukaku's once in a generation contribution is an almost impossible task.
Whilst Barkley has some rare talents, I think replacing him will be easier. In terms of this summers crop, I'll reserve judgement. They look interesting, but could just as easily pass as fail. However if we spend 50m on one player they have to be a success, no question.
