As plans go, that's a pretty sound one tbh.
Anyway, Siggy, on the assumption that he does end up signing, then no-one can say the board havn't backed the manager and given him what he asked for. God only knows if he's worth 50 million or not, but he's a good player and he'd improve us, so people can argue about the finer points of whether or not that money would be better spent elsewhere, but I for one quite like the idea of the board backing the manager. Obviously the manager then has to deliver, but that's much better than the "just plodding along" attitude we've had for years, so, yea, get him signed and lets see what he can do in a Royal Blue shirt.
If he can play guitar then that'd be a bonus.
