I remember when we were linked with all sorts of players and nothing happened until Stones was sold. I think Lukaku was done and dusted well before it was announced and we spent that money safe in the knowledge it was banked, hence the spending has now stopped.

I'd happily wager that we will flog Barkley and McCarthy and the deals will magically start to happen again in terms of incomings.
