I'd be disappointed to see Connolly go even though I'm aware there is a good chance he won't make it. After all the effort to enhance our youth team flogging this early one seems a little negative. I'd be happy with 25m plus McCarthy and Besic. Frees up wages to cover Siggys plus it creates space in the infirmary.

It may be just a loan - if it happens. That could well be an issue holding it up.

Also, there's at least £30m of value between McCarthy and Besic.
