Think this deal is too far gone for us to experience a sting in the tail. If there were any other serious contenders for him, we'd know about them. Leicester have been pure pretenders.

from the sounds of it - in one of his interviews i got the impression he was on Everton's books at some point. I might be wrong. He certainly worked at the club.

Well that only matters if we get all his targets, if the Board get in all the players the manager wants then the buck stops with him, regardless of net spend or anything else.

I think if we get in the players the manager wants we will do just fine this season, we have currently added something that has been lacking the last few years, in just 12months Koeman has brought in the captain of Wales, the captain of England and United, the captain of Ajax, to name just a few, leadership and players that know what it takes to win things.
