I think he was very positive. I dont like Aubameyang. I know he scored a bagful, but he needs about three gilt edged chances to score. If Tuchel had a peak Lewandowski to draw on he'd have been a lot closer to Bayern. Still, CL and a cup in the cabinet is not a bad season...certainy not one to get sacked over.

He played 3-4-3 against Monaco with both wingbacks being true fullbacks and two deep sitting midfielders. They got overrun in the first game and got back in it by opening up only to do it again in the away leg.

Doubt you'd let off Koeman for a season like that either

My friend at Swansea text me to today to say that Sigi trained at Swansea on his own this morning. He had texted me yesterday to say a deal had been agreed as the clubs were in talks for most of the day and that he would be travelling to Merseyside over the weekend. However he said he wasn't sure what happened as he and many other staff at the club thought it was agreed yesterday- they are blaming the American owners for not understanding football and messing up their season e.g. by not selling and and re-investing before the season starts.
Everyone seems to be at a loss with this!
