Truth is there's probably only a handful of people who know what's happening. And not a single one of them is posting their information on here or twitter.

Baz has been pretty good on keeping abreast of this saga, but even he's gone quiet now.
It's a rum one. My take on it is that neither club now want this to happen (he's too vital for Swansea and too expensive for Everton). By keeping all the BS going, both clubs can say, when the window closes, "we did our best". This is to appease both sets of fans for negative net spend windows

Just speculating here - not itk by any means, but would the following scenario be credible?

1. RS sell Coutinho to Barcelona

2. Kaplan/Levien get on the phone to their US buddy John Henry.... "have ideal guy for you to replace Coutinho, 50m, being jerked around by other club interested......you interested?"

3. Sigurdsson signs for RS.
