Its been close, soon and 48 hours for about 5 weeks
On this basis I think it's fair to say it will be done in the next 24 hours mate.

This is getting annoying this. How hard is it to sort this deal out. Swansea want £50m, we bid £45m.... so meet at £47.5m.
We are going up in small increments until they accept the bid, unfortunately FA rules dictate that an official bid can only be made every 24 hours, hence the hold up until we eventually reach the figure they want..
would you prefer we overpaid?

The bid was rejected 21 days ago - It's become a pathetically dull affair
We have already overpaid..what difference does it make now.
Get it done and lets move on.
I don't pretend to know anything about transfers but something is not quite right here.
Are we just not agreeing on a figure and payment method/terms or is there some other reason.
Both clubs seem fine to bide their time. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some totally different reason for the delay and both clubs have agreed to keep stum.
It will all come out in the wash in Bills memoirs this.
Swansea..........don't want to sell and don't want Clement to get his hands on the proceeds either at all, or until its too late.
Everton.............never wanted to pay £50m and can't afford the down payment until Barkley is sold.
Conspiracy theories abound.
Gone beyond tedious this. Talk about waiting to see the guy holding up the shirt. Can't believe anything you hear/read on this, even Koeman appears to be mostly in the dark.
