Disagree with that. He'll still be a key part of 2014 for the US national team, but his chance with Everton has passed. Everyone should be over it by now. I'd be thrilled with something like this for next season. Won't happen though.

Thought Chelsea only paid £10-£12m, and he's been on the books there for 2 years now, not since last summer. I could very well be wrong on the price though. Where did you hear £18m? They do have Torres, and Ba is much better than average. Also heard they'll buy another this summer.

Chelsea have as good as snapped up schurrle. I also think they will go for another (falcao). I'd be amazed if they keep Torres and wouldn't supprise me if they let ba go too and keep lakaku and the new 2.
And by the sounds of schurrle's German club Chelsea dont want to sell de bruyne (spell check) they want to loan him again with Dortmund very interested aswell as schurrle's current club.
Pretty sure we can discount both these players unless maybe a lakaku loan materialises.
