So two Brits makes it a Brenda/Dogleash list?

You are advocating spending £34m on four dreadfully average players, when for that kind of money we could buy one (or possibly even two) top, established stars. As in, world class players.

Gary Hooper for £10m when you can buy a Mirallas type player for £6m? It is flat out mental. Read somewhere that this is statistically one of the worst Celtic sides in recent memory - should we really be giving them £17m for two of their players? The other two play for Wigan and West Brom.

Absolutely crazy.

So you'd rather get players from big clubs - Neville, Howard, Saha, Drenthe etc.
... than players from smaller clubs - Jags, Baines, Cahill, Coleman, Fellaini

I'm sorry I just don't follow your argument. Hooper's fee is inflated by the normal "add 100% for Englishman".

oh and I don't find any of them average - both Morrison and McCarthy have dominated the midfield against us in recent seasons. I know there not allowed to by your logic since the play for smaller teams, but none the less they did.

Your obsession with him is a bit weird though mate.

I like Hooper a lot. But for the money he would cost it's a no.
I think he has a lot of the things we have been missing for seasons up front, a forward who can create things on his own, pace and good at getting in behind the defense (without getting into offside positions like Jela).

Wanyama and McCarthy would dominate midfield and allow the wingers and Barkley to roam freely behind Hooper.

No, I d rather spend good money on decent players rather than massive money on average players.

Fellaini came from liege- not a small club, the rest I ll give you- except that I'm not arsed about what clubs they've come from.

To be honest, £10m for Hooper is complete madness. Why would we pay that?

Having watched a fair bit od Celtic this year (don't know why), I can tell you that he gets offside the same if not more than Jelavic!!
And he'd cost too much for what he is I think mate.

The fee is inflated like I said. IMO he would bring a lot to our team up front that we have lacked for seasons.
