As soon as Wisconsin (BTW great jerb even being worse than Arizona this weekend) gave up in the 2nd quarter I knew Ohio state was going. Its an easier choice to make. Big 12 were idiots with that whole 1 true champions thing and then crowning 2 champions. Ohio State, TCU and Baylor are all good and all flawed, its hard to argue for or against any of them.

Gotta love this. Texas and Arkansas for the Southwest Conference Championship.

They should wear throwbacks. We'll be backing the same team in this one, RAFUH.

Aggies and Couchburners are an interesting matchup. The over has to be 80 on this one.

Gators to Birmingham. Bring me back a bottle of Dale's and a sixpack of Buffalo Rock while you're up there, Gators.

So true for the Big 12. They had a mare this year, as our friends would say...

Still, having TCU and Baylor as the two best teams from Texas is like watching the magnetic fields move from pole to pole. (shakes head)

It wasn't Wisconsin's night. That team woulda never even been a contender.

Don't underestimate Meyer - he can be a superb coach when he gets lots of time to prepare. Still, I think the gap between them and Bama is too big. Derrick Henry - save that name for a future fantasy team. He's a local kid, and he's got everything you need. Legit 4.4/40 and bigger than Steven Jackson. He'll be a star by the time the championship is done - peaking right now.
 
as miserable was our game was, wasn't the least competitive of the weekend. thanks to others for sucking horribly... UA is conveniently playing in the Fiesta Bowl while I'll be back in Phoenix.

Friend is reserving as many tix as he can get his paws on so will be able to enjoy the game with a bunch of my good friends. Cost will be $150-300... plus the beer cash.

Bama is going to crush Ohio State, I'm afraid. If Oregon or Florida State can get on their feet in a good win and then prep well for Saban, the title game should be interesting.
