Between the Confederations Cup protests in Brazil and now hearing all of the absolutely asinine and corrupt things that happened in Russia for this event, I'm liking the big, global sporting competitions that are supposed to bring us together as a planet less and less.

Sad, really. Used to innocently enjoy the World Cup and the Olympics so much when I was a kid.

SUPPORT your country's athletes... like right now nbc is talking about putin and school books...
