2024/25 Fixtures

A full set of games on FA Cup Final weekend? What's that all about? Do the finalists play mid-week after the final a few days before the final set of fixtures a week later?

Otherwise, a reasonable spread of fixtures. Spurs early doors as usual and Chelsea and Man City around Xmas again....

There is no reasonable run around Christmas/Boxing day that we can call "good" as we have a thin squad and it's been the case for years now.
The schedule isn't as bad in December as other years to be fair. Just a Sat Thursday Sunday run and no new year's game. It's effectively just an extra midweek fixture so should be manageable. It's just the fixtures are really tough.

We do have the match on 29th December against Notts Forest. Yes, we have a shorter turnaround after the Man City game on Boxing Day, but it will also give us a longer break afterwards to prepare for the FA Cup third round tie in early January.

Southampton last game at Goodison how very meh.
Half expecting the slimy PL to have dealt us Arsenal, Man U or City.
At least we should have a chance of winning that one.
Cue Southampton title charge.
Probably as good a fixture as possible given we're likely in another relegation scrap this season. Need all the help we can get!

Fixture spread basically the same as last season. Plenty of winnable home games in first three months (which probably won't be won!) Then a brutal period between December-March so that's the period where Dyche will be on the brink of the sack and then not a bad run in.

Pleased with Brighton at home first up as think their baby manager might struggle a bit after their highs of the last few years. What's the issue with Bournemouth at home on Sat 31st August being TBC?
