2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

We have lost to the bottom team twice this season

You can't expect to be comfortable during seasons going 11 months winning just 1 away game. And winning just 1 of the opening 5 home games (which weren't even that tough on paper).

I'm afraid this club just dosen't win many games anymore. The big issue though is what is coming in December. With the injuries and so many big games coming within 3-4 days of each other I think Dyche will be sacked in the middle of the run personally.

Yeah we're definitely entering the new year a good few lines points from safety. No good can be kept from keeping the manager now. But the club never gets anything right, so fully expect him to be allowed to do a Lampard and take us further and further down the league before he's binned.

New ownership won't allow that imo. There is at least new voices with Friedkin that will communicate a decision needs to be taken way before January.

Could Dyche really survive losing at home to Brentford for example. Or Wolves? Imagine the Goodison reaction at full time in those games. Or a bad defeat to RS.

Only issue then is next manager gets a horrible run of 4-5 fixture to try to get a bounce out of this lot.

Soton , Leicester and Ipswich.

Can’t see anyone else finishing under us. Feel Wolves will pick up and West Ham have way too much class once they ditch this manager.

Safe to say forrest arent going down

Forest, Fulham, Bournemouth, Brighton, all these teams will be safe as houses by March. Infact one could make europe this season. Bournemouth just taken 7 points from Arsenal, Villa, Man. City after all.

Basically it's relegated teams from Southampton, Leicester, Ipswich, Everton and Wolves (Palace will get enough wins at home to be o.k imo). Brentford too strong at home to be sucked into the mix.

If your aim really is to get to the new stadium as a Premier League side, then Dyche cannot be allowed to be the manager. It’s far too much of a risk and I fear we may actually sink this time. We are not far enough ahead and have a terrible run of fixtures coming up. This team should be nowhere near the trouble it is in now, and that is all down to the manager. Get rid today!!

I don’t rate the squad as highly as you do, but the manager is sinking us.
