2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

@FOXINPEACE - I have a colleague in work who claims Leicester are a bigger club that Everton. He claims that winning the premier league trumps any historic achievements. Can I have your honest opinion on that so that? Hi name is Adan by the way. Do you know him? He's a big lad with little knowledge of the beautiful game :D
Except for the obvious ones, MU, LFC, Arsenal, and now I suppose in this new era Man City are in it. But the others fight to be called a big club. But there is no sound criteria. I would agree that us and Villa are in there. Newcastle think they are, they deride us in particular, but they do not fit into any criteria you can come up with. I'd say Sunderland are a "bigger" club than them. Leicester, well, sorry, no.

I curiously checked William Hill for their latest relegation odds..

They currently have us at 9/4 to go down - better odds than Wolves, Leicester, Ipswich & Southampton. Palace just ahead of us at 7/2.

Hilariously - Man City are at 12/1, same as Brentford

Hugely significant weekend, this. If we cannot beat Brentford at home, then it's going to be an absolute dogfight to stay up - especially as the manager will have lost a significant portion of the fanbase.

We either take this chance to push up the league or we risk being bottom three by Christmas as reality bites with our fixture list.
