Wolves defence and keeper are an absolute mess. Teams leaking 2 goals or more a game aren’t going to win many games. Some of that is on their organisation but they’ve got some very average players in those positions. They may struggle to keep hold of their better attacking players in January as well. The likes of Cunha will attract interest.

Wolves might well still stay up but they are going to be in the relegation fight all season

Don't they need something like 26 points from 23 games? That's based on the atypical average required in seasons gone by...

Best result i think. I would rather keep the relegation zone 5 points below us than worry about catching up to West Ham with the games we have got coming up.

Five point gap to five point gap with a game in hand, I guess in a sense the derby is a bit of a free hit when it occurs now.

Gota feel a bit for O'Neil. Did a good job at Bournemouth and the second he walked into Wolves they've basically flogged everyone under him. Neto. Kilman. Neves. Collins. Nunez. Jiminez.
Good manager in there imo.
Hope he loses the next 15 games aswell.

I think Palace pull out of this at some point if Eze and Wharton get back fit.

Hopefully we can move away from it also.

I can’t see past 3 out of the 4 of Southampton Ipswich Wolves Leicester. They’re all leaking goals on a regular basis.

It’s just a shame we didn’t make one of the Bournemouth or Southampton games result in a win because 8 points would be a great cushion.

We're lucky (again)
That teams like Ipswich, Wolves Southampton etc are worse than us.....A pessimist would say we're six points of relegation.... an optimist would say we're six points of top half....I'm a middleist...I just say we're mediocre!

If they don't win them 2, they are gone. As they won't be picking many points up from the next 10 games.

They'll get a bounce from the new manager coming in but looks more difficult the longer they leave it given some of the games they have end of Jan/Feb.

For their squad flaws Moyes is the obvious choice but if he dosen't want it Roy Hodgson might not be the worst shout for six months if his health is still o.k as he'd organise their defence a bit better and they might scramble a couple of 1-0s.

To be honest, the December schedule for the bottom 5 is bleak. They wont be picking up a lot of points from them unless they get really hot. A ton of games against the top 8 for all of the bottom 5 teams.

Places 14-20th may not look much different January 1st.

No room for any complacency on our part. We really want to look to extend the gap with the bottom after Christmas. The aim has to be a degree of comfort by April at least, so we can enjoy the final games at GP and head to our new home with an exciting summer ahead.
