2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Leicester are a weird old side. Hopeless against Wolves and picked largely the same side yet have done well here.

However conceding right on half time probably stops them getting anything tonight.

I could see them getting a result against Man. City. Also got homes against Palace and Fulham in January.

Nobody’s said that, you can just stick to facts if you like. I’ll start, we were 5 points clear of the drop zone after the Wolves game and we’re now 3 points clear of it.
Though everyone predicted we’d have got zero points and be almost rock bottom by now. Instead we’ve ground out some points and really improved defensively.

Albeit for a couple of poor decisions from players on the counter we’d have had 2 wins from 3 as well.

Dyche isn’t the answer but give the man some credit when the writing is clearly on the wall yet he hasn’t just dialled it in (clearly neither have the players).

We play them in 11 games (in 1 cup game) so hopefully any bad lasts past then.

Thats at the start of march and you'd expect us to have a decent head start then.

Though i expect leicester to be down there.

Don't think it will be double figures ban, probably be 7-8 games.

The gap to Wolves is only two points now. End of October it was I think 10 points? That also includes beating them 4-0 since. There isn't a lot in the squads. This one has better defenders but they have decent players in final third and generally score more goals so usually that's reflected in the final table.

Well hopefully he finds a way to win a game very soon, if not then he can close the door behind him on the way out.

I think their squad is quite a bit better than ours still, bar at centre back.

Would love their options out wide and at full back. Both pretty close in the middle of the park and I don’t think their striking options are great.

Guedes/Cunha/Hwang all start for us behind the striker though.
