2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

He'll be motivated beyond belief.

What a chance to get at the owners of Everton ho convicted some bollocks story about him walking away from Everton.

If I were Dyche I'd do the Leicester job for nothing.
Motivation is one thing (and I agree that would be a good motivator) but have the energy levels is another. We shall see but I agree, he shores their defence up if he goes there, it’s how they transition which would determine his successful he is.

You are demanding a manager be sacked after 1 game.

This isnt normal.
I'm not. Three losses and they'll have to look again.

That's if they want to protect their cash....maybe they have about half a billion to flush down the bog and wont though?

I agree. The window is open and they may take a chance to strengthen up front. Another striker with Vardy and they'd be in business.

I think we have a few things in our favor. One, we are still 16th with a game in hand. We have a two team buffer in the bunch. Two, Tottenham are missing A LOT of players. We really have no excuse to drop this one. So we should very hopefully get points against them. Three, once MCneil gets back we should be mountains better. I think we will survive. Moyes would really have to blow it.

This is equally bizarre & quite scary the more I look at it..

I've just realised that in my 45 years as an Everton fan, I have yet to see a manager get fired whose sacking I didn't generally agree with - but have only rarely agreed with the choices of replacements.

For me, the biggest issue at Everton remains: we are terrible, in general, at making good managerial appointments.

I'm telling you right now: if we get beat tomorrow the wheels will start to buckle on this club.

There'll be panic because most will think that's our fate: to be wedded to Moyes and we dont have the chance to twist again on a manager.

Well that better not be the attitude of the Texans.. They have to be ready to pull the trigger on Moyes and shift to someone else. And they better be shortlisting managers even now ready to go.

They've got how much tied up in Everton? If it were me I'd have two more games in mind and if we're in the relegation zone I'd get shut of Moyes and go again.

I wouldn't;t care what it looked like...then again, I wouldn't have been the clueless gets these Texans are in the first place to have hired the washed up Moyes.

I disagree. Coming into any job and playing two games in your first week is always going to be challenging. What I would expect to see after Wednesday is a marked increase in performance because that level was unacceptable. If we perform like that again then I'd be seriously worried that the players here are taking us down.

Ancelotti?

Also, in hindsight, should've probably stuck with Silva a bit longer.
